Hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose has the properties of thickening, bonding, dispersing, emulsifying, film-forming, suspending, adsorbing, surface active, retaining moisture and salt resistance.
Hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose(HEMC) can be widely used in suspended polystyrene, expandable polystyrene, emulsion and new acrylic latex coatings, water-in-water multi-color coatings, daily chemicals, oil field drilling, building materials, textiles, printing and dyeing and other fields.

1. Water solubility: Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose can be dissolved in water in any proportion, and its concentration depends on viscosity.
2. No ionic charge: Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose is non-ionic and does not combine with metal salts and ionic organic matter to form insoluble precipitates.
3. Surface activity: Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose provides surface activity in the solution to achieve the required emulsification and protective colloid, as well as relative stability.
4. Water retention: Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose can retain moisture after absorbing water on the porous surface.

Packaging & Storage

5. Store in cool, dry, and clean conditions, keep away from heat to aviod spread burning with oxygen.
Safe handing is required to prevent dust with air from reaching explosive levels.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is 2 years. If over 2 years, please test and confirm the quality before using.
